Nature’s Tonic

Explains the science behind nature and wellbeing, explores the benefits of nature on our mind and body, and shares strategies to integrate more nature into our lifestyle.

One of the lessons to come from living through the global pandemic has been a greater understanding of the therapeutic power of Nature. This workshop explores the research into the many ways Nature boosts our health and wellbeing and will deepen your self-care toolkit with practical inspiration using Nature as an anchor.

We instinctively know that there is something about the quiet calm of nature that is contagious. Scientific studies are being released every year suggesting that spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. Today we are seeing a new field of research called Ecopsychology bringing us tangible evidence that Nature is not only nice to have but it's a have-to-have for physical health, cognitive functions and even societal development. Being connected with nature improves your mood, reduces feelings of stress and anxiety, improves your physical health as well as your creativity and confidence.

As we transition to a new chapter post lockdown, Nature remains the most accessible way to nourish ourselves. In this workshop, we will dive into the science behind nature and wellbeing and explore the benefits of nature on our body, our mind and the way we interact with others.

Most importantly, we will explore how to integrate more nature into our lifestyle in order to get the most out of it. There is no right or wrong way to do it, a Nature fix will always be beneficial but there are ways that will optimise the boost in your wellbeing. A broad variety of approaches are included: mindfulness, creative, meditative and reflective practices, the perfect tonics to soothe, recharge, process our experiences and to carve meaning in the midst of change.

You will leave the workshop feeling uplifted and with a set of strategies to effortlessly boost your wellbeing thanks to Nature.
