Midlife Health & Wellbeing for Women

 

Educates and empowers women to take control and thrive in their midlife, taking a close look at the facts, science and lifestyle changes around Perimenopause and Menopause.

Most women are unaware and unprepared for the changes that happen from the age of 40. This is an opportunity to educate and inspire women, so they can be prepared to embrace and enjoy their lives post 40.

This workshop simplifies the science, so women have a true understanding and awareness of the changes that are happening. It takes a positive approach, inspiring and encouraging women to take control of and care of their physical and mental health and to choose lifestyle behaviours that are personal and right for them, so they can make this an empowering time in their lives, setting them up for a healthy and happy next chapter.

This workshop covers the facts about Perimenopause and Menopause, simplifying the science to understand the changes, symptoms and their impact.

We also look at the impact that lifestyle behaviours can have on the menopause journey, and share practical strategies to bullet proof your mental and physical health. We explore HRT, the role of movement, exercise, nutrition, stress, sleep and pelvic floor health.

The workshop provides opportunity for women to reflect in their own journey and develop a personalised action plan. We also signpost further resources and support networks.

The primary audience for this workshop is females aged 40 plus. However, as 50% of the population will go through menopause, this topic is also relevant to younger women and men and it can be adapted so it is appropriately targeted for the audience.
