Teaches the importance of rest and relaxation, and shares tools and techniques on how to improve sleep.

At this time of great uncertainty, it is natural for us to experience disturbances with sleep and to feel a general sense of exhaustion.

We all know the importance of sleep for physical renewal and clarity of mind but good sleep for many can be elusive... and sometimes impossible, amplified even more so during these times. This workshop takes a look at how we can promote better sleep and when we just can't get it, how to rest and relax to compensate.

The workshop considers environmental factors and the kinds of behaviours that can promote better sleep. Participants will takeaway an understanding of why we need to prioritise sleep, rest and relaxation and the tools to use when sleep is disrupted, including mantras, physical relaxation techniques and breathing techniques. The workshop also explores ways to unwind when you just don't have time.
