Meditation Class

 

Meditation is an incredible tool to support us at times of uncertainty and change.

In a world that can at times feel overwhelming, the breath is our one constant companion. By resting our attention on the breath, we can access a sense of inner calm, even in the midst of outer flux.   

This 45 minute session is designed to support participants to find peace in the midst of uncertainties. It involves a 15 minute introduction to the practice, and an explanation of how our brain handles uncertainties and the consequences on our physical, mental health, happiness and performance.  

The session then moves into 30 minutes of guided meditation practice, based on the Neuroplasticity 4 steps process to shift from negative emotions. This involves identifying the cause of any anxiety; choosing to respond instead of react; softening the physical body by focussing on the breath; and shifting emotions by bringing a sense of security right now, in this moment. 

No experience or effort is necessary. The intention is to bring people together in a shared experience of calm and relaxation, releasing anxiety and tension.   

The session can be hosted either in person at your workplace, or virtually via webinar. It can be hosted as a one off experience, or as an ongoing series of regular support.  

I really liked Steph, she was very engageing and passionate about wellbeing and helped me to understand what wellbeing really is and how it can improve your everyday life. Since the session I have been doing daily meditation and feeling calmer about all that is going on in my life.
