Kindness - How Doing Good Does You Good

Explains the personal and societal benefits of kindness and shares motivation for increasing kindness to ourselves and others.

“Whenever possible, be kind. It’s always possible” Dalai Lama.

Kindness. Sounds easy doesn’t it? Who would willingly say they don’t see the value of kindness? And yet when push comes to shove what is it that motivates us? What does guide our behaviour, our actions and our words, either intentionally or unintentionally? And wouldn’t being kind leave us weaker, vulnerable to exploitation, less well positioned to climb the ladder of success?

At the present time, perhaps more than ever in our society in this century, we are seeing incredible acts of altruism, generosity and courage. Why is this?

This webinar explores what’s so special about kindness and where we would be without it. It looks at what kind of person kindness make us, and what the downsides might be. The webinar moves on to explain the neurobiology of how doing good does you good, and what or who are the potential recipients or beneficiaries of kindness.

Participants will leave the webinar with a call to action, asking them to consider the ways in which they will be kind going forwards.
