Working Well with Technology

Explores how to be at your most productive and effective without letting your technology come in the way of a healthy life.

Our phone and computer offer us an incredible opportunity to be well connected with our teams, and the various networking tools have become essential to modern methods of working. Learning how to optimise your use of technology is necessary if we are to remain healthy, productive and in good spirits.

Businesses thrive when employees feel energised, respected and empowered and encouraging time to unplug is an important part of any thriving business. This workshop teaches how to generate healthy boundaries with technology and break negative habits of over-use so participants are more resilient and in control of their use of technology.

The workshop introduces a number of topics such as how to regain control of your attention, the importance of a good news or social media ‘diet’ and how to not let your tech get in the way of your sleep.

We’ll look into the importance of setting good boundaries around technology and also what it means to create agreements across teams in how you’ll all use technology that enable more creative and productive work to take place.

The workshop explores the idea of taking ‘proactive breaks’ so that you can return to work refreshed and how to minimise email so that you and your colleagues can do more ‘deep work’.

Participants will leave the workshop with a fresh perspective on their relationship with technology and a tool-kit of strategies to help them feel more focused, balanced and productive than before.
