Raise Your Running Game
Shares strategies to elevate your running style and training and minimise injury.
More than 2 million people run regularly in the UK. This accessible form of exercise has great benefits but physiotherapists often have to deal with the negative impact of running. A big number of these injuries can be avoided by understanding and addressing deficits in running style and training. It is important for runners to play a proactive role in staying injury free.
This workshop, delivered by a specialist physiotherapist, offers a clinical and evidence based approach teamed based on latest research to ensure that you keep you moving.
The workshop explores different running styles, common deficits in mobility and strength and common running injuries and how to prevent them. The workshop moves on to look at useful tech to keep your running on track, and the role of cross training for runners.
Participants will leave the workshop with knowledge of the actions they can take immediately to reduce their risk.
