Change the World from the Inside Out
Designed to help people find hope, empowerment and compassion in a world that often forgets to do so for us.
From pandemic to climate change, inequality and economic uncertainty, how can we, as individuals, handle the mental and emotional impact of such issues - and play our part to resolving them?
This workshop seeks to reduce the sense of overwhelm that many of us may feel, and transform this into positive actions that we can take control of. It looks at identifying what’s most important to us, breaking down the areas of life that we can and can’t control, and doing what we can to make a difference.
Looking at the outside world, the workshop explores and shares strategies for how we cope with differing opinions, conflict and recognising our own biases, in order to reduce feelings of anxiety and foster a greater sense of connectedness.
Finally the workshop shares how to be the change, creating a better world, from the inside out. This involves playing with compassion, empathy and fear.
Participants will leave the workshop with a renewed sense of hope and optimism, and a set of strategies of positive action they can take to create change.
